DENTAL IMPLANTS

If you are looking for a permanent solution for missing teeth, dental implants is your best one. One of the most innovative and effective advances in dentistry, dental implants act as custom-made replacement teeth, they will help patients improve their chewing, speaking and the overall appearance and feel of their smile. Unlike traditional dentures, dental implants do not move or slip along the gums, they are artificial roots placed into the patients jaw bone. As bone and gum tissue grow around the dental implants, they serve as permanent anchors so that the dentist can build life like ceramic restorations around them. Dental implants don’t require extra daily maintenance aside from your normal brushing and flossing routine.

Great Lakes Dentistry experienced cosmetic dentist will create a treatment plan that will provide you with custom-designed dental implants to restore your smile with beautiful natural like results. If you would like to schedule a consultation for dental implants please contact our office today.

PORCELAIN CROWNS & BRIDGES

At times a dental crown may be the only option to save a severely injured tooth. This is also known as a cap. The crown fits securely over a prepared tooth to restore stability, function, and appearance. Dr. Gurpreet Mohi will place a ceramic, porcelain or gold crown based on the location of the damaged tooth and the pressure it must regularly sustain. A bridge may be used if more than one tooth is affected.

To get custom crown or bridge made, it usually takes two visits. One of our dentists will first prepare your teeth, then take an impression to send to our quality dental lab, where an expert will fabricate your crown or bridge. Once we receive the restoration from the lab, your crown or bridge can be permanently secured. From crowns & bridges to dental implants and other restorative dentistry, Great Lakes Dentistry has a full range of options to help you attain a beautiful and functional smile.
